John Murphy is the owner and operator of JM Landscaping and Irrigation. John has been in the landscaping business for 30 years and brings his vast experience to every job he oversees. His very first job, at age 18, was working for a landscaping company in Bothel, WA. After 3 years in the military and a year at a lumber mill, John moved back to Clark County and has been a landscaper and an involved community member here ever since.
John is Landscape Industry Certified (LIC) in hardscape and softscape installation and irrigation. He has been an active member of the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP) since 1990, including filling the role of secretary for one year and president for two for the local southwest chapter. John is also an active educator, performing the duties of a technical advisor, judge and the Tacoma LIC site chair.
